Our retreat home for the week is the award-winning Lumeria Maui, a premier wellness center in the heart of Upcountry Maui where the air is scented with plumeria and the ʻāina—sacred land—pulses with healing energy. Just 20 minutes from Kahului airport, Lumeria Maui is a serene refuge surrounded by rolling green hills and tropical gardens offering the spaciousness your spirit is craving.
Lumeria Maui is a living sanctuary and there was a profound process of cleansing, honoring, and activating the land guided by revered native Hawaiian Kahunas or shamans. Sacred ceremonies were held to honor the land’s ancestors and every tree, native plant & pathway was positioned with purpose. With the guidance of the Kahunas, 8 large crystals were placed beneath the property to form a powerful crystalline energy grid with the intention to continuously clear, anchor, and amplify the energies of love, healing, and transformation.

DAY 1 - THURS, JUNE 25
As your plane descends over the turquoise waters of Maui, today marks your arrival to this tropical paradise steeped in spirituality and Earth-based reverence. You’ll make your way to the lush slopes of Upcountry Maui, where the air is cooler, the land feels alive, and time begins to stretch. Nestled between the ocean and Haleakalā volcano, Lumeria Maui awaits as a living, breathing temple of rest.
You’ll check into your accommodations where you're encouraged to slow down + unwind. Unpack, breathe, wander through the gardens, and let the weight of the outside world fall away.
In the late afternoon, we’ll gather for our beautiful Opening Ceremony, a sacred circle to honor the 'aina + ancestral keepers of the land, set our intentions, and welcome each other as kindred souls. Whether you came with a close friend or alone, you’ll feel the reunion of pure souls called to this same frequency of play, rest, and remembrance.
We'll come together for a festive Welcome Dinner curated with local, organic, farm-to-table ingredients where every bite is an offering of nourishment, prepared with aloha. As the evening winds down, we'll gather by the firepits under the stars sharing laughter, soaking in the tropical night air and the feeling of being exactly where you're meant to be.
DAY 2 - FRI, JUNE 26
This is a morning of quiet hours, a sacred invitation to come reharmonize with your natural circadian rhythm and tend to your inner world. Wander Lumeria’s lush gardens, trace a meditative spiral through the labyrinth created with lava rocks, or gently sway in a hammock with stunning ocean views journaling to the songs of tropical birds. After a nourishing breakfast, we’ll gather in circle for a powerful Rainbow Energy Healing, aligning your body and spirit with Maui’s frequency of joy + vibrancy.
Next, we’ll be joined by a beloved Hawaiian Wisdom Keeper who practices in lāʻau lapaʻau or native Hawaiian plant medicine, hoʻoponopono and pale keiki or sacred Hawaiian birthing traditions passed down from generation to generation. With deep gratitude and reverence, we will receive ceremonial blessings and traditional teachings that will connect us to the spirit of indigenous Hawaiians and living essence of the island.
Then, guests are welcome to experience hula led by a local Kumu or teacher. Hula is an embodied transmission of aloha and storytelling expressed through your own fluid movement and breath. A tasty lunch awaits followed by a deliciously slow, spacious afternoon to receive exactly what you need. Take a dip in the saltwater pool, soak in the jacuzzi or book a tension-melting Hawaiian lomi lomi massage at the onsite spa. Your only job is to rest and receive.
After a restful afternoon, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner and enjoy the festive, light-hearted sounds of the ukelele, receiving the spirit of aloha by musical transmission.
DAY 3 - SAT, JUNE 27
We'll begin our day with an early breakfast, then head out for a fun adventure, our Waterfall and Rainforest Hike excursion into the emerald heart of Maui. As we journey along jungle trails beneath canopies of wild guava and banyan trees, we’ll cross riverbeds, and swim in crystalline pools beneath cascading waterfalls. This adventure is an elemental baptism designed to rekindle childlike joy, presence, and awe for Gaia.
We’ll share a gourmet picnic lunch from a favorite local eatery beneath tropical fruit trees, letting nature feed our bodies + spirits. Upon returning to Lumeria, the afternoon is yours to shower and soak in the sweetness of a slow afternoon taking in the raw + wild beauty of the day. This afternoon is also a great opportunity for guests to explore the nearby town of Paia for some shopping as well.
As evening arrives, you’re welcome to join an optional pre-dinner gentle yoga flow to soften back into your body and integrate with grace. We’ll come together for a grounding, seasonal dinner basking in the glow of our inner radiance becoming more amplified by the Earth herself.
In our gorgeous yoga pavillion, Queenie will close the evening with a multidimensional sound journey. The reiki-infused healing frequencies will gently ripple through your body allowing your nervous system to fully surrender into rest + receiving mode, and your spirit will open to the deeper rhythms of Maui. We will honor the day as a celebration of the elements and the playful remembrance of what it feels like to be fully present + fully alive.
DAY 4 - SUN, JUNE 28
We start our day with breakfast and then journey to the pristine and world-famous shores of Makena Beach, one of Maui’s most cherished coastal gems. There, we’ll set out on a kayak + snorkel excursion through Turtle Town leisurely gliding across crystal clear waters, swimming alongside gentle sea turtles, coral and tropical fish. Today, we take our time soaking in the healing mana of the Pacific. Maybe you'll even spot dolphins or gentle manta rays in the wild. This is our time dedicated to pure, joyful ocean medicine.
After our sun-kissed adventure, we’ll make our way to nearby Kihei Oasis, the #1 food truck pod on the island, to partake in the island flavors in a fun, local atmosphere. You'll have the freedom to peruse the variety of food trucks offering a diverse range of culinary delights. Then we'll head back to our home base where you’ll have the afternoon to shower and rest. Relax, read a book or take a nap and simply allow the magic of the day land in your body.
As the sun softens in the late afternoon, Queenie will guide a powerful Oracle Breathwork journey to anchor the transformation that’s taken place throughout the retreat with the intention to help propel you forward into your highest timeline. We’ll gather for our Farewell Dinner, a celebration of all the sunshine 'n soul medicine Maui has gifted to us. Finally, under the glow of the full moon in Sagittarius, we'll end the evening happily dancing barefoot in the grass and moon bathing under the stars.
DAY 5 - MON, JUNE 29
Our final morning together begins with a gentle vinyasa flow to stretch, awaken, and anchor all the light you’ve gathered. As the Maui sun spills golden light across the Meditation lawn, you’ll move with intention, grace & love for your human vessel, forever grateful for this experience that reignited your soul passions.
We’ll then gather for our Closing Ceremony, where Queenie will lead us in reflection, integration, and a final blessing for your journey ahead. Expect laughter, tears, big bear hugs, and the deep knowing that something profound within you has shifted. Your soul is fully nourished and you're aligned with your body, as well as lovingly attuned with the natural harmonic of the Earth once again.
We’ll share one last nourishing breakfast together and savor the warmth of authentic friendships and soul family connections. What a true gift it is to come home to more self-love and to fill your well. Though the retreat ends, the ripple effect will continue as you integrate all the heartfelt memories. Carry the deep healing of Maui and conscious community back home as you return with renewed passion + commitment to your sacred path.

Lumeria Maui celebrates the variety of local food and its nutritional potency. We'll dine on nourishing meals made from only the freshest ingredients from the onsite restaurant, Wooden Crate. Each meal is a nutritious and exquisitely prepared garden-to-table Maui dining experience in a tropical retreat setting. Maui’s climate creates an abundance of fresh dining year-round: Mango, lilikoi, guava, avocado and papaya are among the 200 species of plants that grow generously on the property. We can also happily accommodate various diets, from vegan to paleo and everything in between.

What are the official dates of the retreat? What are check-in and check-out times? This is a 5 day retreat in Maui. The retreat dates are Thursday, June 25, 2026 - Monday, June 29, 2026. Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am.
What is the deposit and are there payment plan options? DEPOSIT A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your spot. PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS There are a variety of payment plans below. Payment plans will be activated the month following your received deposit. We never charge processing fees for the $500 initial deposit, however, a 3% processing fee applies to each monthly payment made by debit/credit or digital wallets like Apple Pay. What is the cancellation policy and is travel insurance required? We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise, and we strive to be as transparent as possible with our cancellation policy. - The $500 deposit is non-refundable and secures your spot on the retreat - 20% refund of paid retreat balance if cancelled by January 1, 2026 - 10% refund of paid retreat balance if cancelled by February 1, 2026 - No refunds if cancelled after March 1, 2026 That said, Travel Insurance is required to protect your investment in case of unexpected circumstances. This journey is an investment in your soul and travel insurance enables you to protect it wisely. We recommend purchasing "Cancel for Any Reason" travel insurance coverage which is only available within 14 days of making your deposit. iTravelInsured is a great provider to check out. This type of insurance will cover unexpected illness, emergencies, travel disruptions, trip cancellation, medical coverage, travel and/or baggage delays, emergency assistance, an Act of God or any other force majeure condition, including, without limitation: natural disasters (hurricanes, earthquakes, floods, tsunamis, volcano eruptions), acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, epidemics, and government actions, damages to the travel supplier and its facilities, or any other unforeseen circumstances or unforeseen factors.
Is my flight included in the retreat price? Your roundtrip flight to Maui is not included in the retreat price. Guests are responsible for booking their own flights to Kahului Airport (OGG), as well as arranging ground transportation to and from the retreat center. Lumeria Maui is located about 12 miles and approximately 20min from Kahului Airport, tucked away in peaceful Upcountry Maui. Taxis and Lyfts are available from the airport, ranging anywhere from $35-60 one-way, but it's always best to confirm the rate beforehand. While it’s not required to rent a car, we encourage it for guests who want the freedom to explore more of Maui’s magic beyond our retreat itinerary.
Is food included in the retreat price? Yes, all meals except one lunch are included in your Sunshine 'n Soul retreat experience. You deserve to feel pampered and not have to worry, so we’ve curated a delicious blend of onsite farm-to-table meals that elevate your wellness journey. We’ll also enjoy a picnic lunch on our Waterfull + Rainforest Hike excursion. The only meal not included is the Sunday lunch since you'll be free to enjoy exploring the eclectic choice of local food trucks and sampling whatever calls to you.
Will we have time to shop? Absolutely! There will be free time and opportunities to do some shopping for keepsakes and souvenirs.
